Atelier Gihanga was born from a deep reverence for Rwanda's rich woodworking traditions. Founded in Kigali, we blend ancestral techniques with contemporary design to create furniture that transcends time.
Every piece begins with sustainably sourced Rwandan hardwoods — Umuvumu, Umunyinya, Umuko — selected by hand for their grain, density, and character. Our master craftsmen then spend weeks shaping, joining, and finishing each piece to perfection.
